SAP and EDI in a company SHOWA Aluminium Czech s.r.o.
In the context of post-implementation support and an effort to further extend the functionality of SAP in the company Showa Aluminium Czech s.r.o , Greensoft s.r.o. was made responsible to secure electronic exchange of business data (EDI) among systems of its customers and internal SAP ERP ECC 6.0.
It was the automatic transmission of standard structured commercial documents, such as delivery schedulers to framework customer agreements and consignement notes based on IDOCs/DESADVs incl. print-outs of 1D and 2D bar codes according to the customer (VW group) specific rules. Within the project the data conversion software of Globalsoft Consulting s.r.o. was selected to be used.
