Kick off : Implementation of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 at FARMTEC a.s.
After signing the contract in November 2009 the implementation of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 at FARMTEC a.s. was initiated early in January 2010.
FARMTEC a.s. is an important partner of many domestic and foreign agricultural enterprises in the area of development, manufacture, installation and servicing of complete technological units, such as technology of lairage, milking parlours and farrowing houses, robotic farms, etc.
Farmtec a.s. also provides package deals of biogas and photovoltaic power stations and was ranked among the 100 best companies in the Czech Republic in 2009.
Due to the expanding activities and needs to ensure adequate management of all phases of large projects - from design and engineering activities through planning, manufacturing, joint production to project logistics and constuction - the company decided to issue the tender for the supply and implementation of Enterprise, Resource and Planning system, which replaces the existing SCALA ERP system, already do not allowing further development.
The implementation was entrusted Greensoft s.r.o., which has offered its unique know-how and expertise from the middle segment of the ERP systems, as SCALA (Tier2) and with transition to larger enterprise applications (Tier 1, where the long-term leader is SAP ERP).
